Cindy Layton

Cindy Layton was nominated by the City Council to fill an unexpired term for Ward Four following the resignation of Councilman Bob Weber in October, 2004. She was sworn into office on December 20, 2004. She filed, unopposed, for election to the seat, and will fill the vacant seat until the April 2005 General Election, at which time she will begin a full two-year term.

    Cindy Layton has lived in the Fourth Ward over ten years, and since coming to the city, has been active in many community groups.

    Cindy Layton holds a Bachelor of Science, Paralegal degree, with minors in History and Business from Winona State University in Winona, Minnesota.
